Formal Autism assessment

The assessment involves two main appointments. One to collect information about you/your child’s developmental history and background information. The other is a clinical observation to look at your/their patterns of interaction in more detail and uses a standardised measure. We use the two most recommended assessment tools the ADOS-2 and the ADI-R. During the initial discussion we will discuss the best place to meet and complete the assessments.

When you make contact with us, we will talk to you about whether we would recommend additional assessments, such as assessment of language or cognitive skills.

We offer assessments which are multi-professional and undertaken by experienced clinicians. We follow NICE guidance for standards of Autism assessment. You will receive a detailed reports and recommendations tailored to you.

Fee: £2500
