Dear all,

It has been so lovely to welcome our parents/carers who have been able to join us this afternoon for cake and craft in celebration of Mothering Sunday. We hope you all enjoyed your time with us. If you were unable to join us and would like to do so another time, please do let the office know and we will be in touch to arrange a mutually convenient date.

This week the Chapel team have welcomed a visitor to share some exciting information and insights about Air Cadets and The Royal Air Force. Our visitor fed back that Park House School students were the most attentive group she has delivered to for quite some time and asked some really inquisitive questions.

All parents and carers should have received an email from Tom earlier in the week which details the outcome from our recent ISI inspection. We are very pleased to share with you that for both Pupils’ Achievement and Pupils’ Personal Development the school has been rated ‘Excellent’ by ISI which is the highest possible outcome. We would like to take this opportunity to thank the whole Park House School community for their dedication in enabling the pupils to achieve their maximum, and develop personally, through person-centred education, compassion, teamwork and respect.

We hope you all have a restful and enjoyable weekend.

Park House School ‘Shout Outs’

Each week, we feel very lucky and privileged to be able to share the achievements and celebrate the progress our pupils make on a daily basis. The ‘shout outs’ below endeavour to capture a range of the many fabulous moments we’ve experienced this week!

Jayden – Excellent engagement and completion of his English session at the Chapel

Connor Mooney – For being kind, caring and supportive towards his peer

Noah – For an all-round super week and wonderful effort and engagement in all sessions

Toby – For carefully following instructions and adhering to safety rules to be able to chop wood, light a fire and independently make popcorn over the fire

Edward – For being really reflective and demonstrating a mature attitude towards his learning in all areas

Isaah – For demonstrating perseverance and determination in all sessions, especially evident in his progress in maths

E (Electronic) D of E (Duke of Edinburgh) accounts are now all set up and have been shared with Chapel students this week. All students have completed their skills section and most have completed their volunteering section. Students are now moving on to their physical section which is underway. This is great preparation for the expedition section which will take place in the summer term and will involve two days of activity with a single camp night. Further details will follow as they are planned. We are really proud of all students taking part in D of E and some great ‘community’ conversations are being had.
